We woke up early morning for our photo shoot today (at 5 a.m.). As you know, this time of day gives warm and stunning light for pictures. This is my favorite time for photo shoot. I know, it is not easy, but it’s totally worth it!!!!!!!!!!
So, today our model was Anna. It turned out, that she is not only talented make up artist, but also very beautiful girl. During the week we have been getting together and made a decision about all details and style. I thing we did a great job J

Oh my God!
Anna - you are so photogenic!!!! There is no difference in the model craft for me in these pictures from the work of Natalia Vodianova or Eugenia ..... forgot the last name.
I really like this session so much more than the first one. And the last one of yours was very-very nice.
But this one is 100000 times better for me. Love it!
I love the "naturalness" of it. :)
We had gone back and forth a few times about which day and time to shoot because the weather was cold all week. Finally it got sunny and wArm and we met last Saturday for engagement session. Aroma Café was a great spot for morning get-together! As always we came early and then Nick showed up but the most interesting part of this- he walked towards us alone…… When we asked where Susan was, he explained that her dress was damaged and she was looking for some thing other in her clothes. Susan came 5 min latter and I was so glad, she wasn’t upset too much about this nuisance and looked so beautiful and cheerful. Actually, I would like to say couple words about how they met. It was like in a movie…very designing story !
They both came to the bar for date…He with another girl and she - with other guy, going on a blind date. There was something “hooligany” in Nick’s mood that day, and he decided to go ahead and, actually interrupt Susan’s blind date by ending his date, following her and than asking her to step aside and possibly giving him her phone number. How daring is that? Well, it payed off, since they are getting married now, and it is not even 2 years since that historic night!
Nick and Susan are just so sweet together!!! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:

O yes! But It was very cold day and we brought brandy to get worm. She was a hero of the day :-)
Do you remember this sweet face? Yes! Our good friends visited us last week and we had a great time! Surprisingly the weather made a present to us with sunny day and we went to our park for picnic. I grabbed my camera and took couple pictures:
Last week I had the pleasure of taking some portraits of little Masha. She was so sweet at letting me run around her and take pictures. This is such a great age to capture!

Oh, my god, how cute!
It is amazing to see the features of both mother and father in one little person! Photos are so candid, any of them can become a post card. :)

I am floored by some of the details photos, like the hand reflection in the water, green door portrait, glass reflection with hands, Buffalo scape, jeans portrait, especially laying on the bench, the heart-shaped hands, grass background for holding hands, the black and white ring show-off! Makes me want to continue our rain-interrupted session with so many more ideas and triple energy!
If we didn’t know for a fact that the hotel is brand new, we would be totally convinced that the place has been in business for about 100 year and is being taken care off well. The lobby with concierge desks, piano, fresh cut flowers, art on the walls, historic architecture …. Everything there just spoke taste and artistic view. One of the most beautiful views in the area awaits for you through lobby windows and from the terrace on the second floor. Located on the Lewiston’s Riverfront, this hotel instantly became a very attractive place for sophisticated weddings and retreats in WNY. I would like to express my appreciation to Jeff , the general manager of the hotel for the finding the time in his busy schedule, for the hotel tour and for his kindness.
It was also exiting to meet Amy, newly appointed banquet manager and, We also had a chance to meet the person, who’s inspiration, taste, art appreciation and passion stands behind the hotel: Diane. It is always nice to meet a person who gives back to the community, makes the world around us more beautiful and meaningful. It is due to Diane the walls of the hotel, as well as some pieces of the furniture proudly represent work of local artists.
It was purely inspirational to just visit the hotel, and I can not wait to shoot a wedding in such an extraordinary setting!
Yesterday we attended a workshop in Toronto with the amazing photographers-Yervant and Joe Buissink.
They are both my favourites and I felt like I met movie stars!
The workshop was incredibly useful!!! Yervant and Joe gave us a ton of new tips, imaging techniques and knowledge; they shared their huge experience with us. Yervant demonstrated how to create magic light on the pictures, how to be a business person and how to reach high end client. Joe shared his inspiration, vision and tips how to capture beautiful and emotional moments. These two talents are so different and you have great opportunity to get two different point of view and absolutely diverse styles of photography. In spite of limit of the time of our workshop, they did not look at watch at all and kept answering questions until people had ones.

We also met there our friends- photographers Mike and Scott
Before i am going to Toronto to workshop, I would like to share with you photos from engagement session which I took on Thursday. (I know, Yuliya you are checking my blog and waiting for this moment )
I love e-sessions for the opportunity to capture a unique moments of the love story…I love e-sessions for irresistible emotions showing between two people in love…. I love e-sessions for the joy and great time spent with couples, who put trust in me to be their “story teller” It’s amazing being able to be a part of such warm moments.
Yuliya and Michael know each other almost 3 years. They are so cute couple. We met together afternoon and went to downtown of Buffalo where we found so many beautiful places for photo shoot. The main event was to get to City Hall’s 25th floor. We were on top of the city! Amazing panorama opened in front of us! You can see everything for miles. This was a place where Michael “popped the question” !!!!! We started here, at this place. I cannot express how beautiful and romantic it was…
Check back in a couple days to see more pics on a slide show
