Now that is one sexy shot!
To say I am excited means to say nothing…….I am thrilled to announce my major news of this week!!!!
I was featured in awesome Buffalo magazine in a “Cultural Arts” issue!!!! And what was unexpectedly surprising for me- A cover with my work!
We met with Mike in a Chow chocolate (Best coffee place in Buffalo!) and had a long conversation about my art, my business and plans for future. I think it was my first time when I seriously started to think deeper –why I do what I do, how I do this and what is my next point…..Really! I never tried to describe all my levels, step by step of my artistic path as an artist….even to myself! But we were not in rush, Mike was amazing. He was listening all my thoughts while I tried to explain «How I came to a decision to become a wedding photographer” or the most difficult question:”What do you love more – wedding photography or to create your art work”….Most of Mike’s questions forced me to rediscover myself again…. Thoughts in my mind were “flying with supersonic speed”, I even forgot about ice-cream I ordered.
When we finished our interview, I paused everything for a second and I noticed I feel complete, At that moment I realized again I do what I love and I love what I do!
Thank you Mike, your article is fantastic! I love it! You did not miss a single important detail.
We enjoyed your company and hopefully I will take a couple lessons of super quick typing from you! Just joking…

Юльчик! Круть! Не будем растекаться мыслью по древу, просто скажем, что все идет своим чередом, так глядишь и до ТВ дело дойдёть ;). Ты ж молодец и заслуживаешь всех тех комплиментов которых тут выше уже написали!
You may remember this cute couple from the e-session couple weeks ago..
Linh and Uyen-Ha had a wonderful Wedding day filled with colors, traditional elements and beautiful traditional suites and dresses. There were two wedding ceremonies – first one is traditional Vietnamese and second is catholic. Traditional weddings are always special. It always feels like a special one day journey to a different country, dive to a culture – music, cuisine, traditions. It is always exciting and fun to shoot.
After the ceremony the weather surprised us with shower. It was raining cats and dogs and we had to run to a new location. Interesting fact is that every time when we stopped in the new location and started to shoot, right after 10-20 shots rain was catching up on us. However it did not change anything, rain brought some special mood to pictures. In the end we are all had fun.

My favorite shot out of this wedding is behind the rainy window. Beautiful!
JillAugust 27th, 2009
I have to agree with both Elena and Alyssa. Really beautiful work.
It was in the waiting line for so long… But I am sure this is the best time to publish it partly because Frank Dimeo just wrote his post about this Wedding event as well. It is amazing that we have ability with our posts to show that day from two different sides.
First of all, it was my first experience to work as a second photographer. I was thrilled when Frank called me and asked to shoot with him! I circled the date of this Wedding in my calendar and waited with excitement …. Also it was my first experience capturing groom’s party during “getting ready” (Usually Oleksiy does this). To be honest, I ENJOYED IT! It is Fun, Maybe sometimes we should just switch it.
Frank, thank you sooo much, it was such a pleasure to work with you as one team and thank you for all my “first experiences”! It was great! I totally enjoyed working with you.
It was an honor to capture this Big Day!
Hope to work with you again!
Thank you Miah & Thomas for being so fabulous! Everything was just amazing. You guys, your family and friends made the Wedding day so special!!!

Wow Yuliya you did an amazing job, like I knew you would! I was so excited to be working with you too. I love these and I'm sure Miah and Tommy will too. I even like the one of me (thanks). The last one of them dancing is incredible! I hope to, and look forward to working together again sometime soon.

Yulkin, awesome job as always!!!!
Today is a big day! I had Naturalization Oath Ceremony today!
It was long long process to get to this final point…A lot of frustration and hopeless moments.
I am so thankful to my husband for being with me on this significant day! I was also super surprised to meet Tess Moranand Mark there. Never stop to repeat – what a small world. And a perfect example: An immigration officer who was running this ceremony actually is my client, We shot his wedding this June; My friend and talented photographer Tess (she moved to U.S. from UK ) was there to get her naturalization certificate also!

Just came across your blog and wanted to say hi. LOVE the hair on this precious baby! - JG
PS Congrats on your naturalization!
It feels strange when your friend moves to a different place. Anna moved to NYC this weekend.
Besides the same passion to our work we have a lot in common….When we meet together we always generate new projects, plans and ways how to execute all our ideas. Since we met we did a ton of crazy projects together. We are a perfect team! I am happy to realize that I have such an amazing person in my life. She always inspires me in a different ways! Now she lives in NYC ( it has been 2 days already!!!!) and it is it not an easy to admire this fact.
It is funny but I should say as a makeup artist she made a huge influence on me…good influence -a lot of new cans, retorts, boxes appeared on my shelf . Now I cannot understand how I even existed without all this magic stuff before?!
So this post is about friends. It is does not matter where they live now. Some of my closest friends live in Ukraine, Egypt, Toronto and Buffalo…. and now Anna moved in New York.
No, no, I am not sad, I am extremely glad for Anna and I believe we will meet to create our next project very soon!
I miss you sweetie! This is one of the best chapters in your life which starts in NYC. NOW!
