I think that it is a little bit too much like a "painting", but this is only a matter of taste, of course.
It will depend also on the message for this marketing piece.
AnitaOctober 17th, 2008
I think this would definitely work as a marketing tool, but
I think for some people - they might want to see something a little bit more obvious alongside the image maybe?
Like Elena said, it's just a matter of taste.
It is a beautiful image that can stand alone too I think.

Thank you girls! Some time I have very spontaneous ideas and at this time your advice is very helpful!

Your work is so high fashion and I LOVE it! That's the kind of photography I want to do eventually and I look at your photography as inspiration!
I am so happy, I’ve got permission to post these beautiful photos from unforgettable wedding !
Luwam and Samuel, I can not stop to say “Thank you”! We had such a blast photographing your Wedding day.
While Lyosha and Alexander photographed Samuel’ getting ready, Tatiana and I met Luwam in Iconz Hair Designs salon at 7-30 a.m. That beautiful day started with smiles.
Luwam’s dress was gorgeous!
They are one of the most beautiful couple I ever seen!!!
One of my favorite…
From the church. I love how the light reflects on their faces!
On the second day they were in gorgeous traditional dresses.
A beautiful bridesmaids amazed us every day with new stunning hairstyles and dresses.
Kids are always so funny. They were near us all the time and as soon as we started taking pictures, these little ones posed like professional models on the red carpet. But most interesting happened when we allowed them to be a photographers….

Yuka, this looks amazing! You have to send this to me! I miss you and Anna, we need to get together again soon!
Tiffany is one of the most beautiful pregnant women I ever seen!
It is difficult to believe, but this picture was taken in a due day, she expected delivery every minute during the photo shoot….I am so glad, she is a mother of little girl right now!
Thank you for trusting me to capture this wonderful moment in your life!!!
leita and Justin … beauty and strength, bride and groom…..
Their wedding was so intimate. It’s looked like they escaped from their world and their reality.
Leita and Justin arrived from Virginia for their Wedding day and next morning they were gone, on the way to home. We met very early to capture pre-wedding photos and there i realized what a great decision it was! I love when couple sees each other before the ceremony. It makes the day less stressful and pictures more natural. The weather was wonderful and we took several pictures near the botanical garden and then we moved towards to Barton Hill hotel in Lewiston.
This place is just gorgeous. Every detail of interior speaks about the history and artistic taste.
Justin and Leita, thank you so much for inviting us to share your beautiful day. Please accept our biggest congratulations to the two of you and your families!

Thank you girls! Right now I know the way how make these photos perfect :-)
You will see results soon…
Anita, you have so creative vision :-))))

Welll, I'm not one of the girls, but I like the first one better and would even come in tighter on the crop to eliminate the yellow arm bands.
In the second image I found myself looking at the hands wondering what was going on here?
In the second image as well you could crop out the bottom portion thereby bringing the crop up to the bottom of the hair end. The color luminosity of the yellow at the bottom of the picture was found to be drawing my eye away from the "real" subject area.
A several days ago we had a chance to shoot wedding portraits for the beautiful couple. It was unique photo shoot, because Nick and Rozana are already husband and wife, and they Dad and Mom also. Nick and Rozana decided to hang several wedding portraits on the wall in their house so I helped them to bring this project into reality. I just love when people think out of the box and do unusual and crazy things.
The most interesting part was - they came in wearing absolute gorgeous traditional Pakistani attire. Rich gold colors, henna art on Rozana’s hands and so many stunning details in every part of their costumes….
The second part was even more beautiful. They brought their classic suit and wedding dress.
Rozana’s wedding dress was just magnificent - she looked like a princess from tales…
We spent awesome time together working on this little project.
I want to Thank - Anita for this great opportunity, Weather- for letting us to shoot in the park (it started raining as we just finished), Lyosha for great photos (we worked together)
Thank you - Rozana and Nick, you are just so sweet together! Thank you both so much for wonderful time!
I have so many favorites from this shoot. Here are just a few. Enjoy it!

It is difficult to accept as the true, right now, but after my move to US, it was a difficult period of time in my life. We are always confronting with many difficulties in foreign countries – new culture, new language, and new people. As I mentioned earlier, I traveled a lot … but I was a tourist. I immigrated to US and this is absolutely different thing. After 3 years of constant worry, missing my friends, my family and “my life there, in Ukraine” I can say - I am happy now! It is true! Yes, I am still missing my friends, family and Kiev, but…. I am happy, because I live with my husband, I have the job of my dream and I met so many great people here! I am so thankful to them all.
So, as I said above it was not an easy time for me. I spent a ton of time while searching for models to build my portfolio. Before I started taking photographs of my friends, I captured many self-portraits.
I think it is always interesting to look back and realize how far you moved and how much you accomplished.
Here are several self-portraits I found in my archive:
