This is JUST what I was looking for. I am thrilled with the outcome.
We arrived back to home yesterday….It feels a little sad, a little happy….But soooo excited and breathtaking!
I have a mixed feelings inside of me…It is not easy to describe how you feel when you have two homes- one in Ukraine, where are your parents and most emotional memories from your life and second one here, is in US, where you built your family and your future…
Our extremely short trip to Kiev, Ukraine officially finished.
Lyosha and I spent unbelievably amazing seven days with our family and close friends. We have not been there almost 3 years! And believe it or not nothing changed there, we felt like we are at home again…Like we never leave it. Kiev is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the world, believe me!
When we started to plan our journey, big surprise was waiting for me – one of our girls – Polina, from “Sabotage” dance group, (she lives in Egypt now), and she came to Kiev at the same time as we. It is means, we are ALL (four girls, who danced together for 6 years!!!!!!) will meet again! In Kiev. Unbelievable! What a fortune! We never get together in 5 years!!!
At the same short time Lesha and I even visited my grandmother in Zvenigorodka town (3 hours drive from Kiev).
Time flies so fast ….It is still difficult to believe –we DID IT!!!!
These seven days were like a dream! We did not rest, almost did not sleep but we thankful for this opportunity!
Here are a few things which I missed and I have got it during our trip:
- Wild strawberries….I never saw this berry in US! (Thank you mom!!!)
- Wild Poppy flowers in the field (I and Lyosha saw a lot of poppies during our way to Zvenigorodka)
- Our favorite soups- Akroshka and Borsch - Beautiful stylish cafes and Looong menu of coffee
- A lot of beautiful Ukrainian girls walking on the street (most of them dressed like a cover girl and of course wear high heels!)
- Andreevsky spusk – my favorite street
- A lot of churches with golden cupola’s
- Energy of old big city
- Mr. Sneak –the most delicious sandwich ever!
- Elle magazine in Russian language (I bought it in airport)
( 9 hours from Buffalo to Ukraine and 9 and a half from Ukraine to buffalo)
All sabotagnizi togeather! Olya, Polina, Narasha and I

My mom’s sweet Romka. I am in love with this cute dog!

This is almost the same story I'd have told if I went back to Minsk. I can feel every emotion you brought back from this journey. Beautiful photos of friends and the city, and of little details. :)
We had a privilege to capture one more, beautiful Bat Mitzvah last weekend in Philadelphia.
We enjoyed every moment of been there and documenting such a beautiful day for this family!
The decorations were amazing, food unbelievably delicious and Brianna looked like a little princess.
Thank you guys thank you for being so wonderful. We I appreciate being so welcomed by you.
Here are our favorite’s photographs from the day:

These are fabulous - thanks so much for sharing :)
In March I shoot my first Bat Mitzvah for Nicole in Philadelphia. And I was soo touched by meaning of this celebration. Last Saturday Lyosha and I went to Philadelphia again to shoot another beautiful Bat Mitzvah for Brianna. While I processing these photographs, I share with you album (from GraphiStudio ) which I designed for Nicole. To see full album, please follow this link…
I rarely do “family photo shoots” because my priority is wedding and fashion. But that one was amazing! I was touched when Marat called me and invite me and Lyosha to capture his beautiful family and big event for their daughter in Philadelphia.
Thanks for a fabulous time guys, we enjoyed the time with you!

lovely use of window light and very nice post processing.
Last weekend I and lyosha were invited to Philadelphia to capture a very special day. A little adorable girl Nicole cerebrated her special birthday. Special, because it has religious significance- Bat Mitzvah. According to Jewish Law, every Jewish girl becomes a Bat Mitzvah at age 12. It was a great experience for us- we never shoot Bat Mitzvah before and we were very impressed…Nicole, her parents and grandparents prepared touchable speeches and stories about their beautiful family. The most emotional part was when Nicole started her speech….She told about her future life, career, and her love to family. Just breathtaking…..
Thank you Diana and Marat , thank you SO much for making us a part of that day!
Finally we came back home from Philadelphia. It was great trip- we met our close friends and shoot amazing family and some event. The story about Nicole and her big day coming soon…..
Here’s a little taste:
Shooting kids is such a pleasure and always brings a lot of fun! Couple days ago I had a chance to meet with our friends and to take a couple pictures of their adorable kids. You can remember my photo shoot with Masha last spring…She always enjoys to model me and I this time she was more than prepared.Look at her dress and wings!!!!
Here are my favorite pictures of Masha and her brother Nikita:

Oh my god!!! I can't decide if the kids are tooo adorable and they are just so cute from every angle or the photos are the best I've seen from you, Yulka, of children!!!
I must reserve Masha as my flower girl right away -she stole my heart!!!
