Last couple weeks have been soo busy I even did not have a chance to think about cup of coffee with cheese…
Moving in a house makes me feel like I have no time at all….I do not know where to begin and how to be super organize now….but I have to. Brrr I need more tea and something sweet to stay optimistic and fresh
Here is another 16×12 wedding album which I sent to my clients last week:
As I mentioned before, spending a day on the wedding photoshoot is only part of our work. After the wedding day, album design artistic and creative process starts. I am perfectionist here and I retouch every single page to make it lookes like magazine cover at the end.
I love this process and I always excited to surprise my clients. Here is the example of what was before and what clien get in the album:

You're the best. We love it. And shooting the picures was so much fun too. How do we get a copy of that book? Tom
I never use any templates during the wedding album design phase for my clients….NEVER!
I believe every couple is different and unique so why they suppose to have not unique albums? I design every album base on how I feel this couple and their story of the day. This makes feel complete and makes me unique also. I know it take’s more time and maybe from the buisness prospective, it is not very efficient, however, just a thought that these books will be carefully treasured for decades and people will look at those for many many many years and maybe generations makes me feel so special. I am creating something so valuable for my couples, these are triggers and keys to memories, an unbeliveable feeling I can say. I absolutely love to create these art books!
I know I was a bad blogger past several weeks. It is the time for album design and I am designing from the sunrise to the sunset.
I have a lot of new exciting things to share with you but for now I post some of my favorite layouts from different albums I designed already. Enjoy it!

Sooooo stunning!!
As I promised I share with you my new lovely slipcover vendor- ChrisQ.
When I saw her work for the first time on someone’s blog I fell in love with it instantly!
Chris always looks so gorgeous and she provides custom made slipcovers for people who love fresh, stylish and fabulous things. She is pensioned in what she does. So for me there was no second doubt – I will choose her as my favorite vendor for my album’s slipcovers!
I hope this post will be helpful for photographers who are still looking for a perfect vendors and beautiful products for their clients.
Thank you Chrys, it was pleasure to work with you and I adore your new spring collection 2009!
One of my favorite album from Graphi Studio (for Chris and Suzanne):
I am VERY excited to share with you my new studio sample from Leather Craftsmen (a copy of client’s wedding album). I have got it a few days ago and I adore it–the color of the cover, the size, the colors and quality! Love it!
Sometimes I am not sure what I love more- to capture wedding day or to design wedding album……
Question!!!
I will appreciate if you help me with this question- which bag do you use for portfolio presentation? This question is for photographers, who do not have their own studio
I love my JILL-E CAMERA BAG but right now it became too small to keep all my portfolios.
here is no doubt that parents always want to have an exact copy of their children wedding album.
Almost 90% of my brides and grooms are order albums for the parents!
A few days ago I have got 3 albums for Erin and Andrew from Graphi Studio.
Please, share with me your advices: which company do you use for parent book and why? What size in your oppinion is most suitable?

Yuka photo artJanuary 20th, 2009
Elena/ This is the same 6x8 album on 3 pictures.
These moments…I mean the moments when my clients can touch the art…when they get their album and go through every page again and again… I love these moments!
Today I met with my clients and I am so happy because they love their wedding album. As I said before, my primary album company is- Leather Craftsmen. When I describe BEST quality, beautiful layouts and memories for long life….this is about Leather Craftsmen. I am a person who loves art process… who enjoy to capture story and enjoy designing album. Printing and binding I trust to Leather Craftsmen.
I took a few of pictures when I’ve got the album:

Plus, these are 100% green meaning they are are good for the environment.
The time for my every day’s cup of coffee is early morning……and this is the time when I read my favorite photographer’s blogs.
I love to read what they share with us every day – new work, new discovers, personal information and experience. It always helps me in my business. Especially when photographers post information about vendors, who offer great products!
So, I hope this post will be interesting for you my friends, because I ‘ve got my new samples – Zook Box from Zookbinders and I just love them!!!!!!. This is perfect alternative for portraits, family sessions, engagement sessions and Trash the dress sessions. They offer different options for size, covers and colors.
Look!

These ZOOK boxes are a really nice idea! This way different photographs can be displayed in several places of a house, plus they can be switched to new images any time! I like them.
